WHY IS EDUCATION NEEDED?

We believe education forms the backbone for developing communities throughout the world. High quality learning provides immediate improvements to the lives of the local population and allows the economy to flourish over the long term into something much more substantial and robust.

Education programmes also form an anchor for communities which have few other resources. Learning creates a more optimistic and less conflict-prone atmosphere. For children, AMAR does this by supplementing the existing school classes, while for adults we provide academic and vocational training courses which enable beneficiaries to gain practical skills and develop their knowledge to find work or start their own businesses.
