RHYTHM Iraq

Restoring Hope to Youth Through Music

When Conflict Starts,
the Music Stops.

ISIS began its brutal campaign across Iraq in summer 2014, murdering and abusing thousands of people, destroying towns and villages, and forcing more than 3 million Iraqis from their homes.

Among those subject to ISIS’s attacks were hundreds of thousands of children — children who were forced to watch family members killed, saw dead bodies and blood in the streets, and lived in constant fear of ISIS punishment. They have spent most of their young lives under the reign of tremendous violence – or fleeing from it.

But Together we Can #HelpMakeTheMusic

AMAR has been on the frontlines since ISIS began its brutal campaign. With RHYTHM Iraq, our teams will continue to rebuild lives by providing music therapy to displaced and refugee children.

Creating music helps patients move past victimhood and toward personal healing. And with your support, we’re going to #HelpMakeTheMusic for hundreds of Iraqi children.
