Our Mission

To rebuild lives in Iraq using permanent, local solutions that ensure all people have access to essential services and economic opportunity.

Our Vision

To restore self-sufficiency in communities affected by conflict, civil disorder, and disruption.

Our Promise

To restore hope and rebuild lives in Iraq.

Our Values

All local,
all the time.

We have an all-Iraqi field staff in Iraq. They drive our project development, ensuring our work is based on solidarity with the communities we serve – rather than charity alone.

Sustainability is the rule, not the exception.

We’re committed to accompanying the people and communities we serve for the long term. Our projects are durable, lasting, and have community buy-in.

Economic efficiency is our driving force.

We strive to deliver the most cost-effective solutions so that every penny donated is spent where it’s needed most – rebuilding lives for under-served communities in Iraq.

Our Work

Providing Quality

We care for patients in their homes and communities. We operate healthcare centers, run mobile clinics, build capacity for Iraqi medical staff, and strengthen local health systems.

Lives &

We provide job skills training courses to displaced people and host communities. Courses are offered to men and women – adults and youth – to strengthen economic opportunity for everyone.

Committed to

We target programs toward female heads of households. We educate and mentor entrepreneurs and women health volunteers. All of our projects feature strong female leaders.

Ensuring Access to

We provide access to safe, quality learning environments. We run kindergartens, operate primary schools, and help students attain their graduation certificates.

We inform Iraqis of their national rights as well as their universal human rights. We host workshops to bring together diverse communities to discuss religious tolerance.

We are among the first responders when disaster strikes. We ensure families have access to safe water, food, hygiene products, and blankets in emergency situations.
