Secondary and Tertiary Care
AMAR BUILDS ADVANCED HEALTHCARE FACILITIES PROVIDING SECONDARY OR TERTIARY LEVEL CARE.
Following consultation and treatment in Primary Healthcare Centres, some patients may require secondary care in the form of treatment in hospital and services provided by medical specialists. For patients with serious conditions, they may be referred onto tertiary care and receive specialist consultative healthcare.
When local communities lack these advanced healthcare services to provide definitive treatment for the most serious illnesses, AMAR builds and equips these facilities and trains appropriate healthcare professionals to staff and run them. AMAR does this in partnership with the national and local government to make sure the facilities are fully integrated into the state healthcare system so that its long-term financial and staffing future is secured.
