THIS JUNE, FILL YOUR KITCHEN WITH THE TASTES AND AROMAS OF THE MIDDLE EAST AND HELP RAISE VITAL FUNDS FOR SOME OF IRAQ’S MOST VULNERABLE FAMILIES.

Since Daesh invaded Iraq, almost 3.4 million people have been forced to flee their homes. They have lost everything, and now depend on others for their survival. Over two million are going hungry – every single day.

You can impact these families by sharing a meal of your own. Join us and host your own Iraqi get-together to help raise vital funds for some of Iraq’s most disadvantaged families. With help from British-Iraqi chef, Philip Juma of JUMA Kitchen, you can download traditional Iraqi recipes and bring the flavors of Baghdad into your own kitchen.

Whether it’s an Iftar meal, a family BBQ, a Sunday brunch with friends, or just dinner for two – you can help feed a family in need. Use your meal together as a chance to advocate for displaced families, and ask your guests to contribute whatever they can to support this cause.

Click here to create your own online fundraising page and send the proceeds directly to us. We will make sure every penny goes where it’s needed most – delivering urgent food supplies to families displaced by Daesh violence.

No matter where you are in the world, bring your friends and family together to help Iraq’s most vulnerable families.

BarNadiyah's story

“When Daesh arrived in my home town of Tal Afar in 2014, they destroyed everything – three of my children were killed, while my fourth daughter was badly injured. We had no choice but to flee and abandon our home, jobs and friends. We knew Baghdad would be safer, so we drove to the capital to look for a new place to live. But life is really hard here. I can’t find a job, so paying for rent, food, medicine for my injured daughter and clothes is almost impossible. Right now, there are 13 of us living in a couple of rooms – it’s so cramped, and I miss my home in Tal Afar. But the hardest thing is not being able to feed my family. I hate to watch them go hungry. So when AMAR delivered food supplies and I was able to cook a filling meal, I couldn’t have been happier!”
